Kırşehir Business People Meeting Speech Text

Dear Kırşehir Federation of Associations Chairman, Dear Ankara Chamber of Industry, Ankara Chamber of Commerce and Ankara Commodity Exchange members, Dear Kırşehir Business People, Esteemed Press Members and Distinguished Guests;

I greet you with love and respect on behalf of myself and the Board of Directors of Kırşehir Industrialists and Businessmen (KIRSİAD). Today, we are happy to be together with you at the "Kırşehir Business People Meeting Dinner" organized in cooperation with the Kırşehir Federation of Associations and Kırşehir Industrialists and Businessmen Association.

Dear Guests;

Kırşehir Industrialists and Businessmen Association;
    • To contribute to the development of the social structure by improving the leadership skills, social responsibilities and solidarity spirit of Kırşehir Industrialists and Businessmen,
    • To carry out entrepreneur-supported activities with the awareness of a non-governmental organization, based on corporate development and member satisfaction,
    • Supporting policies targeting competitiveness through the most effective use of the country's human and natural resources, supported by technological innovations, and the creation of an environment that will sustain the increase in productivity and quality,
    • To engage in national and international activities,
    • We established it on March 3, 2022, in order to ensure continuous and effective cooperation and solidarity with national and international parent organizations.
On March 4, 2022, as the Kırşehir Industrialists and Businessmen Association, hosted by Mr. Hamit YİĞİT, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yiğit Akü, Mr. Dr., General Manager of Incentive Implementation of the Ministry of Technology and Member of the High Advisory Board of the Federation of Kırşehir Associations. We held a valuable conference on "Incentive Practices" by Mr. Mehmet Yurdal Şahin, for around 150 especially our young business people.

By establishing the headquarters of the Kırşehir Industrialists and Businessmen Association in a decent environment in the Çukurambar district, we held our Establishment General Assembly on October 05, 2022, and created a Board of Directors consisting of the 2nd and 3rd generations of our doyen business people who are currently in the hall.

We organized a visit to Anıtkabir on December 22, 2022, on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's arrival in Kırşehir and the establishment of our association.

By including Kırşehir Governorship, central municipality and district municipalities, as well as our headmen, we will implement the first social responsibility project of our Association, proposed by the Deputy Chairman of our association, Mr. Abdullah ÇAVUŞ, which includes the solution of all the problems of all our disabled citizens, especially their prosthesis and wheelchair, in Kırşehir province. As KIRSİAD, we will undertake the financial support of our first social responsibility project, with your contributions.

Dear Guests;

This year is the 100th anniversary of our Republic. On the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we will need to determine our position and future in a global economic environment that may lead to significant changes for both our country and the world. We must look very carefully at the global process we are going through and what it offers to our country in the coming years, read the developments correctly and produce sustainable policies. If the steps we take are not sufficient to achieve our goals, we should review our existing economic policies, if necessary. Let's not forget that behind a healthy real sector that functions, produces and creates employment, there is a need for a healthy financial sector that supports this process. We must take these processes into consideration when designing the policies we implement.

Nowadays, the development of countries is measured not only by material resources but also by non-material resources. At the top of the non-material resources are human development and empowerment, as well as our youth. While thinking about the future of our country, as Industrialists and Businessmen from Kırşehir, we must not lose our young people who will ensure the development of this country, prevent brain drain, and lead our young people from Kırşehir.

As Kırşehir Industrialists and Businessmen Association, our first duty is to be a bridge between you, our valuable business people, to ensure unity under the same roof, to keep it alive and to unite it, with the awareness of the Ahi culture in which we have been raised. In the light of our first duty, providing benefit to the public, economy and our country with our unity and solidarity is a continuation of our duties. Another duty of ours is to ensure that our young people are inspired by the success stories of our doyen business people, who are among us now and those who are not yet found, starting from Kırşehir in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, enduring the difficult conditions and impossibilities of the time, writing success stories all over the country and abroad, ensuring that the name of Kırşehir is mentioned with pride, and carrying our city from the national level to international platforms.

As I stated at the beginning of my speech, this year is the 100th anniversary of our Republic. 100 years ago, the founder of our Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and his comrades in arms built the foundations of our Republic by investing in our people, following the path of science, and through political, economic and social institutions and rules. The values ​​of the Republic, built on reason, science, law and freedom, especially secularism, are our guide as well. In this context, our goal is to continue to work tirelessly for a Turkey that has a high level of social welfare, is respected in the international arena, has achieved European Union integration, has strengthened the rule of law, is socially egalitarian and fair, and promises a good future for its youth.
